JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an operations technician for our facilities at Sandviksverket, where we currently have over 30 people working with the operation of Växjö Energi's larger production facilities for electricity, heat, and cooling.

As an operations technician, you will be part of a shift team responsible for the operation of the facilities. The tasks are diverse and include rounds, operational changes, and preventive maintenance at Sandviksverket, as well as operational monitoring from the control room. You are expected to have good knowledge of combustion technology, thermodynamics, and the ability to see the process as a whole, and based on that, you should be able to operate the systems in the best way from a safe, economical, and environmental perspective.

There are also good opportunities to eventually take the next step to operations master, control room engineer, or shift leader.

The work involves shift work and on-call duty may also occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a degree in operations technology or energy engineering, or equivalent. You understand the technical and professional aspects of the work, are motivated by problem-solving, and take responsibility for continuously developing yourself and the organization. You are interested and curious about new knowledge and contribute to a good working atmosphere in the group. Experience with similar tasks in the energy sector or from other similar operations is an advantage but not a requirement. A driver's license (B) is required.
